Getting Here

Our hospitable Hotel Bergland is situated at the entrance to Pertisau. Thanks to its location, the hotel has a fabulous view to Lake Achensee and the Zwölferkopf.

The Location

The historic Karwendel Bergbahn (Karwendel mountain cable-car) will take you to the Zwölferkopf’s popular ski slopes during the winter months. The Alpenpark Karwendel (Karwendel mountains) is Tyrol’s largest nature park. Cross-country skiers may enjoy the landscapeas they glide along trails.

During the warm summer months, Pertisau provides you with endless options for an amazing holiday. Yachtsmen, surfers, and anglers will enjoy their time at Lake Achensee as much as fans of Nordic Walking or golfers, who are invited to put in Tyrol’s oldest golf course.

Additionally, there are a lot of options for dining and shopping at the lakeside promenade as well as in the village centre of Pertisau. Adventurous visitors go on a boat trip with one of the ships of the local cruise and ferry company ‘Achenseeschifffahrt’. Use this trip in order to get to see nearby villages such as Achenkirch and Maurach.

If you arrive by car, you can simply use the motorway A12. However, you have to bear in mind that the so-called “Vignette”, a motorway toll sticker is compulsory in Austria! Follow the street sign ‘Achensee’ and take the motorway exit Jenbach or Wiesing/Achenseee that guides you via Maurach to Pertisau.

In case you want to avoid tolls, you’d better take the Achen pass via Bad Tölz. Arriving from Munich, take one of the following exits: Holzkirchen, Tegernsee, Achenpass, or Bad Tölz. When you’re ahead of the village Achenkirch turn left towards Steigenberg am Rofan. From there, you can drive directly to Pertisau.
